

Mark IlesMark and Julie have lived in Southampton since 1977 and have four adult children Kate, Jayne, David and Emily. They have been in the New Community church for over 30 years and been part of the leadership for over 20 of those. Mark qualified as a Chartered Accountant and has, until recently, been the Financial Director of a National Building Maintenance group based in Southampton. |

Mark discovered his prophetic gifting in the early 1990's and after leading prophetic discipleship groups for a number of years formed his first prophetic team. Graham Cooke moved to New Community in 1996 as Mark was in the process of releasing his pastoral responsibilities, and Mark then trained and traveled with him until 2002. Mark's pastoral background and prophetic anointing provide an unusual combination, particularly with his lively character and public speaking skills. His heart is to see the Prophetic potential within the Church fully restored, and travels regularly as a church and conference speaker. He has a particular vision for the development of Prophetic Teams, combined with established experience in pastoring the prophetic.
Joy currently works at Portsmouth University as Course Leader on a Foundation Degree, training and equipping mature students who work with young children. Joy has been involved in prophetic ministry since 1984, and spent a large amount of that time developing under the mentoring of Graham Cooke. She has a vision to see the church as a vibrant, prophetic community interacting with society in the marketplace. She is known as a passionate and practical teacher who longs to see the Body of Christ fulfilled and mature in its gifting, and has a calling and anointing to equip the Saints to release the presence of God to this generation.
The New Community Church in Southampton has been her home for over 30 years now. Lizzie's primary focus has always been caring for people both within and outside the church community. She has found that the pastoral and the prophetic in her complement one another well, as they both have the same heart - to bring us individually into a deeper relationship with God and together into a greater maturity in Christ. As well as a recognised prophetic anointing, Lizzie has strong pastoral, discernment and creative gifts and enjoys exploring ways of hearing God and expressing His life through us. She has a particular vision to reflect God's heart to others and find ways of helping people to connect and discover God's love for them.
Sue Boniface is part of New Community Church, Southampton and has a background in education. She is currently working on a parenting project for Southampton City Council. Married to Dave, they manage the inevitable extended family as well as their own three grown up children and a fourth who they have recently adopted. Having trained with Graham Cooke she has developed a prophetic ministry over the last couple of years. Her prophetic anointing is supported by strong creative and teaching gifts, and she has a vision to see people encouraged and changed by the words that God releases into their lives.
